Company History

FERTA ENGINEERING was established in Calgary, Alberta in 1992 by the principal Fruch Pagnotta, P. Eng. Beginning with modest commissions, the firm soon began to expand its scope of projects as clients began to gain faith in FERTA's ability to deliver structural engineering services.

In 1998 Fruch was joined by James Wall, P. Eng. and the year after by graduate engineer Trevor Buckley and AutoCAD Specialist Tammy Sorenson forming the nucleus of the firm. FERTA has since added site administration, drafting, and support personnel.

The growth of the firm has been deliberately slow choosing to build with character people allowing for a consistent design approach. At present the firm has a staff of 7. With an eye to the future, FERTA ENGINEERING continues to build with conviction from a position of strength.
